Athens → Delphi
Athens to Delphi by licensed Tesla taxi
Delphi was, for the ancient world, the centre of the earth. The sanctuary is built into the side of Mount Parnassus above a valley of olive trees that runs down to the sea, and the drive there is one of the most scenic in mainland Greece.
The route
Getting from Athens to Delphi.
The road runs north-west out of Athens through Thebes and Livadia before climbing into the mountains.
Most guests travel up in the morning, spend the middle of the day at the site and museum, and stop in Arachova on the way back.
Winter brings snow to Parnassus; we adjust departure times to the conditions on the day.
